No Fish, No Life. A Great Restaurant in Shibuya.

On my second night in Tokyo, Patrick Ramage took me to a restaurant he found in Shibuya called “No Fish, No Life”. I greatly enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and service. Over the course of my week in Tokyo, I’ve returned 2 more times…the food is simply marvelous and it’s a joy to sneak some seats and let the manager, whose name is Abi I believe…

Ok, so after an afternoon meeting with a Japanese firm and our in country consultants at the Japan National Press Club it was time for dinner…our consultants informed us that we would be eating at a special surprise restaurant…the whole thing was very exciting…

The Tsukiji Fish Market.

Yesterday, about 3:45 AM, I awoke…and prepared myself for a trip to the world-famous Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, Japan. I took the elevator to the lobby at 4:40 to meet my team,…thinking I was five minutes early…when I left the elevator…I found the three of them eagerly waiting for me…and off we went in a waiting taxi…

After decompressing in my Tokyo hotel on Friday night…I met up with my friend and colleague Patrick Ramage, a frequent visitor to Japan…who provided both outstanding conversation and insights on where to eat, shop and gawk.

Hello Tokyo.

Ok, so I landed in Japan about 3 hours ago…found the JR Express to Tokyo, then a cab to the Hotel Montery Akasaka…I checked in…and I discovered that you can buy beer from the vending machines here…a nice cap to a full day of travel…
It’s 11PM here…and I’m whipped…more tomorrow…
