Bouv’s Apple Tablet Round Up – Why the Splashy Color Invite?

[Apple's invite image for 1.27.10 ] In just over a week, on January 27th at 1PM EST at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco to be exact, Apple may end literally years of speculation surrounding their creation of a tablet-style consumer device. NYT: Where Should the Art Tax Go?

An interesting article in the NYT today…talking about various efforts by hardware/service vendors to pass along the cost of rights licensing via the cost of the hardware or services. The author points to the idea of being unable to put the pirate genie back in the bottle…and so suggests that by trying to cloak the purchase of the rights to steal…this might prove to be a solution for rights holders.

Clever and Fun: Elegant Homemade iPod Speakers – Cheap!

Ok, I can’t recall where I ferreted this out…doesn’t matter…good is good where ever you find it…from what looks to be a Latvian designer named Dmitry Zagga.
